Mount Maunganui

After hearing about Mount Maunganui from a fellow Ironman competitor, we decided to check it out on our last day in New Zealand, so we headed there from Rotorua prior to heading back to Auckland. It was a beautiful sunny day, and the beaches here did not disapoint! We walked on the beach and picked up sea shells, and walked out to Moturiki Island where we got some great views of the coastline and Mount Maunganui. This was a great way to wrap up our trip to New Zealand!
