Uncle Michael and Aunt Joan's Farm near Owhango
March 9th, 2009
On March 9th after Black Water Rafting at the Waitomo Caves, we drove to my Aunt Joan and Uncle Michael's farm just outside of Owhango. My cousin John gave us an ATV tour of one side of the farm (including a sheep dog demonstration), and then my Uncle Michael gave us a tour of the other side of the farm. The views were amazing - the hill country of the farm, plus views of Nguarahoe, Tongariro, and Ruapehu. The gardens and landscaping around my Aunt and Uncle's house is also really beautiful, and it awoke many fond childhood memories of my visits to their farm!
